Whydowork.com

Whydowork.com is a little known but well respected forum.  I have been a member there for quite some time and love it.  The members are always well informed and you just don't seem to get the same affiliate spam that you see on other work at home forums.
If you are looking for a good forum to find out about legitimate ways to work from home you should join this Whydowork.com and start reading and asking questions.  You won't be disappointed!

Chiff.com

This is a really great search engine and I have to share it with you all.   Most of the time if a webmaster wants to get their website listed in a search engine like google or yahoo they just go to the search engines site and enter the information about their own website for inclusion or they can just wait for their website to be spidered and included.  This can actually be a pretty tedious part of doing business online.  This new search engine I just ran across though is very different!
At http://www.chiff.com/ the webmaster or even anyone affiliated with a website cannot submit their website for inclusion.   This search engines uses a whole new concept.  The only people who can submit a website for inclusion are the visitors themselves!  Just imagine the possibilities.   If you as a searcher are trying to find a quality website you can go to chiff.com and search knowing that the only returns you get are from people who have used that website.  The downside is that there are good quality websites that are probably not included in the search.  Regardless, I still love the concept!

Flooble

Now this is a funny site! www.flooble.com
They have a lot of fun stuff but the one that jumped out at me was the random blog feature.  Ever have those days when you just don't know what to write or maybe you just don't have time?  Well guess what?  Your worries are over!  Just go to flooble and click on the "generate" button.  Voila!  An instant blog post!  Here is mine:

Today my boss was writing an essay about education of the European lowlands. He was really intrigued by that stuff, so he went to ask my friend Lizzie about it, and she screamed:

"Wow!.. Oh man! If I hear another thing about the European lowlands I'm going to shoot somebody!"

But then when my boss got to the part about the education, Lizzie ran away all of a sudden. But the next day, Lizzie's mother told me that the reason Lizzie was so freaked out was because she used to write a lot about education. On weekends Lizzie can be a little stupid like that, but I need to make this work...

Healthcare Today

Are you wondering how you will stay healthy this winter?  As we all know there are more and more people without any health insurance or with inadequate insurance.  We need to be responsible for ourselves and take care of our bodies.

Healthcare Today is a great website with a lot of useful information.  We can always use some good advice for staying healthy.  I especially like the post on eating more and weighing less!  Isn't that what we all want.  Well it can be done.

I was very impressed with the knowlede and advice given on this blog.  Everything from saving lives to giving up caffeine.  Something I know a lot of people are working on.

Great job!  Visit Healthcare Today and share what you learn or just share your healthy living tips!

The 30 Day Cafe

What's for dinner?  I hate hearing that question and even more hate having to ask myself that question when I haven't planned anything.   Typically I try to plan dinner at around 10 in the morning.  This gives me plenty of time to take something out to thaw and get it started if it is an all day meal.
How nice would it be if we could quit worrying and just take something out of the freezer and throw it in the oven or microwave?  Welcome to the world of Once a Month Cooking!
The concept of OAMC is that you prepare, cook and freeze 30 meals in one day.  You get it all out of the way at once!   This can be easy or hard I imagine.  One way to make it easy is to visit The 30 Day Cafe.  Here you will find everything you need, recipes, plans, ideas, hints and tips.   If you give this a try, let me know what you think of the one day of cooking place.  I would love to hear your experiences!  I might even give it a try!

Back to blogging

Heres the story.. I had a few months where I got really frustrated with this blog as well as most of my others and just gave up.  I learned that I really missed blogging though so I have made a new resolution to pick it back up and get going.   I won't be trying to post every single day like I was in the past but I will be trying to post on each blog at least a couple of times a week.  Thanks for bearing with me!

The first site I want to talk about is our friend Gaylas new forum on blogging.  It has taken off like a wildfire!  I have been watching it and posting there now and then and every single day I am just amazed at her talents.  If you have a blog or are thinking of starting one this is the one place you absolutely must be!
