Live Web Cams and zoos
Not too long ago I found a link to the national zoo and discovered they had live feeds so you could watch the animals from the comfort of your own home. When I first discovered this site Katie and I must have spent a good hour watching the animals. Since it was at night we were only able to shapes and the nocturnal animals. First thing the next morning we went back and spent at least half a day watching the elephants, trying to spot the tigers and looking at the fish. The panda bears were absolutely fascinating and we went back and watched them everday for at least a week. Today when I went to find the link again to share with you I also ran across a website called CamZone which had links to the San Diego Zoo and their webcams! So I decided to share them both with you. At the San Diego Zoo you can watch the Polar Bears, Panda Bears, Apes and the Elephants. CamZone also has links to the live web cams at SeaWorld where you can watch Shamu and they have live web cams for some beaches too.. Definately take the time to visit these places and share them with your kids. This is a great way to take a trip to the zoo when the weather is cold and yucky! Powered By Qumana |
