I have been a member of Clean Home Journal for a few years now. It's a great website. They have a lot of great hints and tips to keep your home spic and span and tons of great recipes for every season of the year.

I have to tell you though... my very favorite section is the coupons! You have to love it when you can save money on the products you are going to buy anyway!

Did you realize that sometimes the soaps you use can be really drying to your skin? Using a good handmade soap can make all the difference.

I discovered this site just today but I am so impressed with the huge line of products! They carry everything from handmade glycerin soap and shea butter soap to body/room sprays, natural pet care, hair care and even lip balms! This is just a little bit of their wide selection!

After I started looking around I was positive that the prices were going to be outrageous. Imagine my suprise and delight to find out that the prices are very reasonable and even low!

Cookin At Home is a great website for those of us who get tired of making the same dishes over and over, night after night, week after week.

If you are like me you actually enjoy finding and trying out new recipes especially if they are fairly quick and easy.

You can find recipes for chicken, fish, pork and pasta, main dishes, desserts, and even for special diets. It really is amazing just how much is included on this one website!

Tonight I'm going to try a variation of the Chuck Wagon Hash for dinner!

I am needing to change two of the articles on one of my websites and was just this morning wondering what to replace them with and how to make it easy.

Lilbitofheaven could easily become one of my favorite message boards. I think a lot of it is the skins they use make me feel relaxed while I am there.. :)

Really though, the owner has done a great job of putting together a website for women of all ages where you can talk about most anything.

Right now they have sections on beauty, easter crafts, easter recipes, cleaning tips, mom advice, men (we all need that section somedays!) fun and helpful sites, giggles and laughs and just a ton of other sections.

Flashback videos is a great website with a terrific service. Remember all those old family videos you have sitting in boxes or stored under the television?

Flashback Videos can take those old videos and turn them into new DVD's! So many people have moved away from the VCR and now only use their DVD players or if you are like me you still have the VCR just so you can watch those old tapes.

Send in your tapes, get them transferred to new DVD's and clear out some clutter in the process!

First on the agenda is Boredreader. This is a very different message board in that it's all about flaming. Remember the guy that cut you off this morning or the boss that made you so mad you just wanted to spit?

Boredreader gives you just the place to vent. Now in all fairness it can be a little confusing as well. For instance there is another forum that is very popular but the members at boredreader seem to flame that forum and it's members almost daily. For the life of me I haven't yet figured out why they continue to visit the other forum but hey, it's all about entertainment right?

It's that time again! Time to make your New Year Resolution. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see that the number one resolution for most people especially in the US will be to "Lose Weight".

If you have been working at home or are trying to work from home one thing you will find is that you are probably very sedentary. I think personally I have probably gained a good 10 pounds since I started working at home 3 years ago! Sitting in front of a computer all day long is not the way to stay fit.

I recently found this great blog dealing with personal training. The NoExcusesGym blog is written by Marcela, a personal trainer who knows a lot about good nutrition and staying fit.

Marcela offers plans and ideas on training plans, fitness, diet, nutrition and includes a daily tip for staying in shape and keeping fit. The section on daily tips is extremely helpful and my personal favorite. Do YOU know which hotels in the US offer the best gym equipment? Do You know how you can eat out at restaurants and not kill your diet? Do YOU know how to store your fruits and vegetables and still retain the nutrients? This is just an absolutely fascinating blog. In a strange way it just pulls you in and you can't stop reading. Visit http://sociopathicfun.typepad.com/ to get a glimpse into the life and mind of a Sociopath. He makes some good points. We associate the term Sociopath with people like Ted Bundy and Scott Peterson but society is full of Sociopaths who never make it to fame. Sociopaths are also not always violent.

When you go to this website start at the bottom and read from the bottom up. Some of the stories are really funny and others are just plain fascinating. Some of the stories also have some good lessons thrown in. For instance read the story about the Waiter scam and then see how quickly you turn your credit card over to the next waiter you meet!

This is a really great search engine and I have to share it with you all. Most of the time if a webmaster wants to get their website listed in a search engine like google or yahoo they just go to the search engines site and enter the information about their own website for inclusion or they can just wait for their website to be spidered and included. This can actually be a pretty tedious part of doing business online. This new search engine I just ran across though is very different!

At http://www.chiff.com/ the webmaster or even anyone affiliated with a website cannot submit their website for inclusion. This search engines uses a whole new concept. The only people who can submit a website for inclusion are the visitors themselves! Just imagine the possibilities. If you as a searcher are trying to find a quality website you can go to chiff.com and search knowing that the only returns you get are from people who have used that website. The downside is that there are good quality websites that are probably not included in the search. Regardless, I still love the concept!

Today my boss was writing an essay about education of the European lowlands. He was really intrigued by that stuff, so he went to ask my friend Lizzie about it, and she screamed:

But then when my boss got to the part about the education, Lizzie ran away all of a sudden. But the next day, Lizzie's mother told me that the reason Lizzie was so freaked out was because she used to write a lot about education. On weekends Lizzie can be a little stupid like that, but I need to make this work...

Heres the story.. I had a few months where I got really frustrated with this blog as well as most of my others and just gave up. I learned that I really missed blogging though so I have made a new resolution to pick it back up and get going. Here is a great website we probably all need to visit often. It's all about fruits and veggies! Now do you really eat enough of either of these foods? I sure don't. Frugal For Life is just a really great website. I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first but then I found the section titled "Odd Searches". I can relate to this section well! The author of this website took it a step further than I do. I am always checking to see how people find my websites and find it interesting. This author not only looked to see where traffic was coming from but took the time to research and answer the questions the orginal searcher was looking for. The part on using herbs to get rid of debt is particularly fascinating. I may have to just give it a try!

Coast to Coast AM with George Noory

So this is a little different but it is one of my favorites. I am not a huge conspiracy theory fan but I do believe in UFO's and life on other planets and I also believe there is a lot of information that our governement doesn't share with us for whatever reasons.

When it comes to Coast To Coast AM though, I have been listening to radio show forever and a day it seems. Clear back to when Art Bell was hosting. Sometimes the information and guests are kind of boring for me but more often than not I lose a lot of sleep because I just have to stay awake to hear what the guests have to say.

Coast to Coast is not all about aliens and conspiracy theories, don't get me wrong there. One of my shows every year is Ghost to Ghost on halloween when listeners call in and share ghost stories. I also love the pictures they post from listeners who claim to have gotten a picture of a ghost. They really do cover all aspects of our lives on this show and it is a lot of fun. I absolutely LOVE this blog. First because I love a great deal and it doesn't get better than this. Second because it is something that a lot of people used to do and everyone is afraid to do now. Im glad to see that someone still believes in dumpster diving!

I myself am guilty of driving down the street on trash day and wanting stuff that people have thrown away. Occasionally I even stop and grab something. In fact last year I got Katies swimming pool from someones trash pile. It wasn't one of those blow up ones either. It was one of the big solid square ones with the built in slide and a built in water squirter thing.

This weekend while I was at work we had the televisions on news stations. This is about the only time I really ever watch the news. One of our regular customers came in and was looking at the television and mentioned that all you ever see anymore on the news is more and more people getting killed.

Jokingly I said we should probably start a "good news" station. Nothing will be allowed to be shown unless it is happy and uplifting.

Well the site I found today is just filled with stories of wonder and enlightenment. It is all about Angels and stories from people who believe they have been visited or helped by an Angel.

Personally I am a big believer in Angels and spirits. I believe we have Angels who help us in every area and aspect of our lives.

I love simple ideas. I love when I find something that is so easy and simple AND successful. Those things that make you think "why didn't I think of that?".

These days ideas aren't just limited to inventions and practical things. With the internet almost any idea can come to life. Remember the website started by the college student who sold pixel advertising and made over a million dollars in a very short time? That is a great idea. I also recently saw an advertisement for something or other but they showed a guy who started a magazine. The magazine was simply notes he found laying around town. What a simple and easy idea!

Today I found a website with the same kind of idea. It's called Postsecret. People from all over can send in a homemade postcard and they also write down a secret on the postcard. The postcards are posted at Postsecret. It is so fascinating, not only to read the secrets but to see the art that goes along with the secret. Soduko Duck

Have you gotten sucked into the Soduko craze yet? Probably so! I did and they are more than addicting!

I regularly do the ones in Star magazine. I am not yet good enough to do the ones in Readers Digest but I do keep trying!

The way it works is that you start with a grid of boxes, nine across and nine down. There are numbers in some of the boxes and your goal is to fill in the blank boxes with the correct number.

When you are done you should have the numbers 1-9 in a row down and across AND in each little 3X3 square with no number showing up either in the little box, across and down. It is quite the challenge!

I took a look to see if there were any online places where you can try it out and I found this place:

A Momma and the Boys Living on a Budget

I just ran across this blog and wanted to share. It is one of the best written blogs I have seen in quite awhile! "A Momma and the Boys Living on a Budget" at http://budgetdial.blogspot.com/ is all about frugal living and raising your kids well.

I was particularly inspired by the article on Ipods and kids. We have recently become an Ipod family. The older girls both got a Nano for their birthdays (keep in mind they are 18 and 24!) and I got my husband and I got shuffles for our anniversary. Now of course with all of us having such a great time with the Ipods, Katie (5) has decided she MUST have one.

Now this particular child was born when I was in my mid 30's and the other kids were mostly grown. This means she has two parents, grandparents and two sisters and a brother who all work and can afford to spoil her rotten. A 5 year old with an Ipod though? Even I had to admit that it was too much but I did give it some thought! Thank goodness for the article at A Momma and the Boys Living on a Budget.. It definately helped me get my head back on straight!

Family Fun

Family Fun is one of my favorite websites and one of my favorite magazines. Both are packed full of great ideas.

At Halloween I used their pattern to make my daughters washing machine costume. It turned out beautifully and she got 3rd place in the costume contest at the zoo. I believe she would have gotten first but someone else found the pattern and showed up in a similar costume.

In 1996 Amber Hagerman was abducted and brutally murdered while she was riding her bike in Arlington Texas.

The tragedy outraged the entire community and people started calling the local radio stations. The residents suggested that the radio stations broadcast special alerts when a child is missing and hopefully they could prevent further tragedies.

The Amber Alert was born. In April of 2003 President Bush signed the Amber Alert and it became a national program which is now used everwhere.

Just yesterday a lady here in Boise had her car stolen while it was sitting in an apartment complex running. She had ran into her friends apartment to tell her something and left the car running with her 11 month old little girl sleeping in the backseat. An Amber Alert was issued and resulted in the recovery of the car and baby. The carjackers had dumped the car on a residential street. It sat there for about an hour when a man heard the Amber Alert and realized the description of the car fit the SUV that was parked across the street from his house. He went to investigate and found the baby. A happy ending indeed!

How can you help? If you have a website you can go to http://codeamber.org/ and pick up a small piece of code. Whenever an Amber Alert is issued your visitors will see it. There are probably just as many people online these days as there are people who are watching tv or listening to the radio. The more people who are aware of a missing child, the more people who are looking.

Kids and Guns

The CDC estimates that in 2004 13,846 kids were injured by a firearm and 15,214 were injured by BB or Pellet guns.

In a recent survey it was determined that about 1.7 million kids live in homes where there are unlocked and loaded guns!

This is astounding. I know a lot of people claim that they grew up with guns and that they are perfectly safe so long as you teach your kids how to use them and about the dangers.

I personally am someone who will not allow guns in my house as long as I have small children. I am not against guns I am just not willing to take the risk. However, I also know that my child might be in a home at any given time where there are guns. Because of that I do believe in teaching about the dangers of guns and the proper use of guns.

This website gives you common sense techniques for teaching your kids about guns and gun safety. You can also find state by state headlines, statistics and resources. There is a link where you can recieve free firearm safety kits that include gun locks as well.

Even if you don't have guns in your house this is a great resource site for you. Remember, your kids too might be visiting a home where guns are not locked up.

This website offers all kinds of goodies for everyone including your pets!

One thing I love here is the live mouse trap. I remember being single and finding out we had mice. I couldn't stand the thought of having to empty a traditional mouse trap or even having to go close to a dead mouse to get it out of the house. Im kind of squeamish that way.. I went to a dozen stores looking for something that I could handle and I found the live mouse traps. I loved them. I just picked them up, took little Mickey outside and let him go. Much nicer!

Daffy jumps

Here is another fun little game that is just slightly addicting. Help Daffy Duck jump out of an airplane and safely land in the landing zone.

I don't know why this is so much fun but it is. Tell Daffy when to jump and then help him open up his parachute to make sure he lands on the landing pad. It isn't as easy as it sounds.

Pay attention to the boxer shorts blowing in the breeze to decide which way he is going to fly once he jumps out. Click on the jump button and then on the chute button to make his chute open. There is a little landing pad that is up higher or lower, more to the left or more to the right. You get 10 jumps. I landed on the pad only 3 times! Anyway, its just fun:

www.littlekidsrock.org was founded in 1996 by David Wish. David, an elementary school teacher was frustrated with the lack of funding for music education in his school. He started an after-school guitar program for some students and it has now grown into a full fledged nationally recognized program.

The program which began in San Francisco now has chapters in:

• Los Angeles, CA

• West Contra Costa County, CA

Little Kids Rock is focused on helping the kids who have been left behind because of no funding or budget cuts. Yahoo Answers is still in the Beta stage and it is already quite addictiing! It is sort of like a huge community where everyone can post questions on whatever they have questions about. Everyone is free to answer and then you can also vote for the best answer.

They have also set up a point system with points and levels. http://answers.yahoo.com/info/scoring_system It helps determine your reputation and shows that you are very involved. This could be helpful when someone is looking for a serious response.

Which brings me to the next area. Already there are some jerks involved who ask very inflamatory questions just to be smart alecks.

Yahoo will need to find a way to address this problem and do a better job of screening and banning. I read a post that was almost obscene and the guy that wrote it had been reported numerous times yet the post is still there and he is still active.

Leaving it open for abusers might drive the serious users away which would be sad. I think Yahoo has come up with a terrific concept here and I hope to see that they get the above issues resolved so that everyone can enjoy it.

Live Web Cams and zoos

Not too long ago I found a link to the national zoo and discovered they had live feeds so you could watch the animals from the comfort of your own home.

When I first discovered this site Katie and I must have spent a good hour watching the animals. Since it was at night we were only able to shapes and the nocturnal animals. First thing the next morning we went back and spent at least half a day watching the elephants, trying to spot the tigers and looking at the fish. The panda bears were absolutely fascinating and we went back and watched them everday for at least a week.

Today when I went to find the link again to share with you I also ran across a website called CamZone which had links to the San Diego Zoo and their webcams! So I decided to share them both with you.

At the San Diego Zoo you can watch the Polar Bears, Panda Bears, Apes and the Elephants.

CamZone also has links to the live web cams at SeaWorld where you can watch Shamu and they have live web cams for some beaches too.. Definately take the time to visit these places and share them with your kids. This is a great way to take a trip to the zoo when the weather is cold and yucky!

Pharmacopoeia is a site I found quite by accident and just from the description I had to go find out what it is. It is described as a visual art project illustrating medical issues. It took me a few looks around to really "get" what that meant.

There are some fascinating pictures which you have to see for yourself. Take a look at the tiara made out of 42 pills and capsules to get an idea, or the Sari made out of osteoporsis and arthritis pills to get an idea.

Each photo is also accompanied by some wonderful descriptions of different ailments and how they are treated. Definately worth a look if for no other reason than the fascinating art!

Okay this one is a little different but what a terrific resource!

Every year there are a bunch of recalls on cars for all kinds of reasons. If you have moved since you bought your car there is a good chance you won't get the recall notice. There are probably a lot of other reasons you won't get the recall notice. Let's say you bought your car from another owner. You might not get the recall notice because the dealer doesn't know you own the car!

It is important that you know about these recalls not only for safety reasons but for monetary reasons as well. When something does go wrong with your car why should you have to pay to get it fixed if it is a problem that is under recall?

I entered my vans information only to find out that the power door handle for the sliding door on the passenger side has been recalled. It is a power door so if you pull at the handle the door will open by itself. Apparently there have been some people maybe kids who didn't let go of the handle once the door started opening and injured their arms or wrists when they hit the seats in the back.

I would have never known this recall was in place or that this could even be an issue! Now I know to make sure not to let at least the little kids open the door using the handle.

At The Center for Auto Safety you can quickly and easily find out if there are any recalls or service tickets for your car. Just enter the make, model and year and you can view all the recalls, why it was recalled and the potential problems.

You can also view other peoples complaints, ongoing lawsuits, how a vehicle did in safetly testing etc.

How many times this year alone have your tried to call a company only to get a robot? You wait patiently while the automated system prompts you, "press one if you are a current customer, press two if you want to update your address, press one again if you would like to scream"?

I can tell you of at least one company where it is impossible to get a human. The only way you can get to a real live person is if you are a new customer. I learned that trick very quickly! If you are a customer of this particular company you have felt the frustration and know who I am talking about.

Gethuman is another great site for finding phone numbers for various companies but with a twist. The great deal here is they also tell you exactly how to get a real live person.

I know personally I am tired of talking to an automated system. Typically if I am calling a company it is because I need to talk to a person to get a situation resolved and the answer can't be found by a robot or anywhere else..

Gethuman has a huge database and over a millioin consumers contributing and giving feedback. Not only can you find the number you need to get a real live person but you can also rate the company on their customer service abilities.

Attachment moms is all about being the best parent you can be. Now I might get some bad responses for putting it in those terms but remember this is where I write my opinions. It doesn't mean I am right or wrong.

Jennifer Houck is the owner of this great and informative website and like her I never knew there was a name for this style of parenting. It just came naturally. Now if it doesn't come naturally but it sounds wonderful to you, this is where you can learn what it is all about and how to parent in this same style.

I remember one of my friends who was trying to get her baby to sleep through the night. The general consensus anymore is that you should let them cry until they fall asleep so she had been through the first night of this. I could tell just by listening to her that all of her mommy instincts were saying this was not the right method for her baby but it was what she was SUPPOSED to do. She was so torn. I told her my theory was that letting kids cry themselves to sleep does not teach them to go to sleep on their own. It just teaches them to feel hopeless. "I am uncomfortable, scared, lonely or sad but it doesn't matter, no one is going to help me."

I can't imagine letting any of my babies feel that way so I pick them up when they cry. I let them sleep with me not because I want to spoil them or never get them into their own beds but because I am selfish. It is easier to nurse if they are in bed with me. I feel better feeling their little breaths on my cheek when I am asleep.

Apparently this is all attachment parenting and I love it! Don't think of it as your baby becoming to attached to you, think of it as YOU becoming attached to your child. This will be a bond that lasts forever.

This site will give you all kinds of great information from sleeping with your baby to making your own baby wipes, starting an at home business and making baby food, why you should use a sling and of course, how to get your toddler to sleep.

I love it!

How many times have you really really needed to get ahold of a corporation in a hurry or even in a slowly and you just KNOW that this company MUST have an 800 number but you can't seem to find it? Forget the 800 number, how many times have you just wanted to get ahold of someone in a company but you can't even seem to find a phone number for them? Well, thanks to www.hardtofind800numbers.com this won't be a problem anymore!

Hard to find 800 numbers is just what it claims in its name. This site lists 800 numbers from Adobe.com to Xerox.com! Just click on the first letter of the place you are trying to find and they probably have a number. If they haven't been able to find an 800 number they will give you the regular numbers (yahoo.com)...

Not only do they have the phone numbers but they also list the hours of operation including the time zone!

What a great idea! This is definately a place to add to your favorites and always have on hand.

Family watch dog is one incredible site! This is a site that everyone needs to visit regardless of whether or not you have kids. We all either have kids or have friends who have kids or neighbors with children etc. This site allows you to know who is living in your neighborhood.

Sex offenders are required by law to register with the state certain information. Where they are living and working for instance.

Using this site you can just enter your address and click enter. A little house will pop up (this is where you live) and you will also see a bunch of different colored boxes. Click on those boxes to see a picture of the sex offender and a brief description of the crime.

I found one right down the street from our house and even more shocking a few right around our elementary school. One lives on the same corner where last month we had a child enticement case!

This is a great tool that will allow you to know if there are registered sex offenders in your area but it cannot tell you about the sex offenders who haven't been caught so please remember to always follow your own instincts. Mom Gadget

Billing itself as the "The Consumer Reports Just For Mom's" is probably an understatement.

We have all read the "regular reviews" in different magazines, on tv, etc. I personally have always had to wonder if they paid for some of those reviews. I have purchased products based on reviews only to find they were nothing like what was described.

What better than to have reviews written with real life knowledge behind them? Who better than to tell you whether that digital camera is going to withstand Gadget boy playing around with it when you aren't looking than Gadget Mom?

Do you really want to buy a mixer that was reviewed by a celebrity and a chef who makes millions a year or would you be more inclined to buy it if a mom told you plain and simply that it really works?

But wait! That's not all! You can also visit the section on penny pinching and find out where and how to buy the GOOD hardware for pennies on the dollar!

This morning I went in search of a unique site about Easter. I figured since it was our next big holiday it would be fun to find a website that was new and different and full of great information about decorating Easter eggs, Easter recipes etc.
Instead what I found was
Easter eggs have taken on a whole new meaning! Now I knew this when I found the hidden songs on a couple of my cd's and when my daughter found a Easter egg in one of her dvd's. What I didn't know is how big this idea has become!
For those of you not yet aware of the new Easter egg, it is a surprise hidden where you least expect it and where it is hard to find. For instance you might finish listening to your favorite cd but be preoccupied and instead of automatically popping it out of the player you just let it run. Suddenly you might hear a song you didn't know was on the cd. That is an Easter egg.
I also didn't know that they could be found on websites. Apparently there was one in the form of an invisible link at amazon.com. I wasn't able to find it but it was from an employee who was leaving. A goodbye webpage.

Easy Web and Design

I tried it out last night and you can click the link and give it a try to. It's free to try out. Just click on the sitebuilder link at the top.
The part that impressed me the most was how quick and easy it is. If you have a product or service you want to sell and if you don't have the time or inclination to design your website from scratch or don't feel you really can, this is an ideal place.
In less than 5 minutes I had a complete website built with every page you could need. It included a contact page, a products page, a shopping cart and a whole lot more. It was VERY impressive!
It is almost like a website in a box. You just enter your personal information, enter whatever name you want for your website and tell it what kind of site you are building and voila! There it is! It gives you a very professional looking website.
I built a site based on toys. I put in a made up name for my site and it was on every page automatically with a very impresseve logo. I took a look at the products page just to see what I was supposedly selling and I had a cell phone for sale! It was great to see how the products would be displayed and I imagine after you are past the initial setup and have signed up to use the service, you will have the ability to go in and add products and more things. It runs about $40 a month and includes all of your optimization tools, statistics etc. There are quite a few different packages and prices offered just depending on what you need and want.
Another little detail I noticed was that you can also be a representative for the company and sell websites yourself. This in itself could lead to a very lucrative career! There are a lot of people out there who need and appreciate the type of service you get here. Take a look around and start building your website today!

Wahms Web

Wahms Web is owned by Brenda Boggs, mom to two VERY little girls.
First I was impressed by two things. Brenda has done an unbelievable job of building her websites. She is also the owner of blogger party. Just being able to do this with two little ones underfoot is amazing to me!
Wahms Web is beautifully done. There are articles, a forum, a work at home guide and my favorite section, Planet wahm. Planet wahm is like a collection of blogs within a blog. The information is always fresh and new. If you are at all interested in becoming a wahm (work at home mom) and don't know where to start this is definately a great place! Wahmsweb
You can also earn points that can be exchanged for rewards when you participate in the different sections of Wahms Web. What a great concept and motivator!
I am very excited about this site and I personally expect Planet Wahm to be the big hit. It is very different than what you find at most websites and unique enough to catch a lot of attention! Way to go Brenda!

This is one place that could become addicting! Do you use the letter refrigerator magnets to write messages at home? Well now you can do it online! The catch is there are others who are also writing messages. This means that just about the time you get your message done you find that some of your letters are missing!
There is no protocol here. It is a huge free for all!
There are three rooms set up where you can write messages. The room I was in only had three other players and it was HARD. I can only imagine what the room with six players was like!
If you have some spare time and find yourself bored beyond belief, pop in here and you will soon find yourself absorbed with a bunch of little letter magnets!

I wasn't sure that I should review this site because some of the material isn't appropriate for anyone under 18. It is not an adult only site but there is some erotica if you look around.
I found this site oddly fascinating! I must have spent at least a 1/2 hour here looking around.
A dunking stool was a torture device that was used to punish people for their misdeeds. In an excerpt found on the site one woman was tied to the device and dunked because "who by ye violence of her tongue has made his house and ye neighborhood uncomfortable."
Now with everything being said I have probably made it sound like an S & M site but that is NOT what this place is about.
It IS a site for people who love everything about being underwater. There are some beautiful underwater pictures. (I ended up looking at everyone of them!)
You will also find the history of the dunking stool, a chat room, message board and links to other underwater sites.

The Happy Slob

This website is definately NOT what it sounds like! I have seen the name www.happyslob.com around for awhile and I always pictured someone who was very happy and jolly but who had a very messy home. Personally I liked this picture! It made me feel much better about my own messy house.
After looking around the website for a huge portion of the day I have to say I am very motivated to try out some of the cleaning recipes, ideas and tricks to cleaning your home the EASY way!
There is a fantastic easy tip for dealing with smelly socks! Now where on else would you find help with that problem? Come on we ALL have that problem! I also found a great recipe for making Lavender Dishwashing soap. I can't wait to try that one! Lavender is one of my favorite scents and the site doesn't mention this but it is also a relaxing scent in aromatherapy! Imagine, relaxing while you wash dishes.. I love it!
The website also offers a newsletter where readers share their own quick and easy cleaning tips and ideas, a blog where you can find almost daily updates about The Happy Slob and even sympathize with her. I definately can relate to the day she wanted to take a walk instead of clean. I probably would have opted for the walk though!
Finally there is even a "The Happy Slob" e-book for sale! It retails for $12.95. The author has a dream and a goal of selling 10,000 copies. I believe that this is a dream that will come true shortly and I look forward to watching it happen.

If you are new to scrapbooking and even if you aren't you might remember how hard it was just to figure out where to begin.
On the first page you will find out how to organize your photos, how to pick which photos to use and how to put your page together.
Go a little farther and you can find some basic instructions on how to use different techniques, eyelets, paper tearing and more.
There are pages with quotes and oneliners to add some zip to your pages.
There is even a page with some great tips for keeping your scrapbooks inexpensive and we all know how expensive scrapbooking can get!
